Less Than The Song - Joan Baez - Less Than The Song (Vinyl)

I'm not a big Joan Baez fan, but one song she did, and actually wrote none-the-less, that I like is Diamonds and Rust. This was an attempt to express her relationship with Bob Dylan. It has a nice, reflective melody which the lyrics fit well. Her rendition was very nice - something I don't often say about her performances/5().

`Joan Baez in Concert Parts 1 and 2' may have been the very first Joan Baez albums I heard, back in , just a few months after having gotten my spiffy new portable record player for my small bedroom, and at least a year before I took to the Beatles and at least three years before I took to Bob Dylan/5(11).
  • Vudora says:
Greatest Hits is a reasonably comprehensive collection of Joan Baez's best-known songs, concentrating mainly on her crossover hits. Although it misses several fine items, the compilation remains an effective introduction for the curious listener.9/

I bought this to replace a worn-out vinyl LP. It's what it says on the label and you either like Joan Baez and this collection of songs from the mid-'60s, or you don't. There are a couple of bonus tracks compared to the LP. As I wanted to play it in the car, I ripped it to mp3 at high speed using Windows Media Player and put it on an SD card/5(60).
